Summary
To receive and record all revenues and other funds to the City of Sapulpa
Essential Functions
Open payments via night depositories and mail; properly posting same to customer accounts.
Record all payments received in the mail, preparing deposit and processing according to established departmental procedures.
Properly record and balance all payments received during the day, processing water bills, balancing all applicable accounts and cash drawers at the end of the day.
Answer telephone and provide information to caller, or direct caller to appropriate part to obtain information, according to established departmental policy.
Issue permits upon citizens’ request and entering information into the computer system.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, repetitive standing, stooping, and bending in a limited office area.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position and the hours are scheduled by the City Clerk.
Travel
Limited travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- One year computer/data entry experience in a business environment
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two or more years of related experience.
- INCODE or other financial software a plus.
