The pool has a zero entry with large shallow area, two slides for individuals 48"+, tot slides, multiple spray/fountain features, and a deep end of 5 feet. The Sapulpa Aquatic Center can be rented for private parties. See below for more information.
The Aquatic Center is on the west side of Liberty Park, a city park including multiple play structures, a walking/jogging trail, reservable covered picnic pavilions, cookout grills, public restroom,a GaGa Ball pit, and courts for basketball, tennis, pickleball, and sand volleyball. Visit the Liberty Park page for more information.
As a public pool, our goal is to serve the most number of people possible throughout the summer. Here are some of the challenges we faced in 2025 (and earlier) that we’re hoping to fix with the new schedule:
Many people in Sapulpa/Creek County work until 5pm so they’re unable to visit the pool or bring their family to the pool during “regular” business hours.
Pool reaches capacity with folks who arrive in the first hour or two, preventing people who are only available later in the afternoon/early evening from enjoying the pool.
Water becomes very cloudy with large crowds, forcing us to close the pool so the filter can catch up.
Pool becomes so crowded as it gets close to capacity that it’s no longer an enjoyable experience for anyone.
Unaccompanied minors cause trouble.
Calmer Waters in the morning wasn’t staying very “calm”.
Young swimmers don’t exit the pool when they need to use the restroom, causing a pool shut down.
Swim Lessons fill up FAST! More parents want Swim Lessons for their kids than we have spots.
Large crowds cause trash - on the deck, in the restrooms, in the pool gutters, overfilling trash cans, etc.
How much is........?
Kids 3 years and under are always free. Pleas make sure you bring extra swim diapers!
Open Swim & Family Swim: $4 per person - Required for swimmers and non-swimmers
Arriving the last hour of the day? Get $1 off your entry!
Lap Swimming, Calmer Waters, Adult-Only Stroke Development Clinic: $3 per person
Adult-Only Water Aerobics: Free - Thanks to our friends at Creek County Health Department!

Can I drop my child off at the pool by themselves?
Unaccompanied minors are only allowed at Lap Swimming, Calmer Waters, and Open Swim. They must be at least 14 years old and show a school ID or other proof of age. If you get a Season Pass, you only need to show this at time of purchase.
Can we stay and just stay out of the pool in the 30 minute break between Open Swim and Family Swim?
Nope: This is our time to pick up trash, clean the deck if needed, empty trash cans, clean the restrooms, etc. - and for the pool filter to catch up. You’ll need to exit the gated area and join the line for re-entry if you want to come back in. (Think of this like two different sessions at the Skating Rink. We’re taking the time to clean and “reset” between.)
If I attend multiple sessions a day, do I have to pay each time? E.G., if I attend Open Swim and then return later with my family, do I have to pay twice?
Ask for a wristband! If you can show a correct wristband, you won't have to pay to re-enter. No wristband = Pay for entry. Or you can get a Season Pass which allows you to come and go as you please!
Can we bring floaties?
Yes & No: Floaties that don’t obstruct our lifeguards view to the bottom of the pool are allowed, e.g. lifejackets, noodles, etc. Large items that take up a lot of space and/or obstruct the view of the bottom of the pool are not allowed, e.g. huge avocados, flamingos, rafts, etc.
Can we bring our own water, food, drink, etc.?
No: Unfortunately, we’ve had folks bring in clear, adult-only liquids, passing them off as “water”. There is a concession with water, sports drinks, soda, snacks, etc. or you can have your snacks at the pavilion outside of the fenceline.
I wasn't able to get a Private Pool Party this year. What other options to you have?
Calmer Waters, Open Swim, Lap Swim and Family Swim are for all ages! Guests who attend Lap Swimming must be in motion in the lap area; the remainder of the pool is reserved for Swim Lesson registrants only.
